FISHING! CRABBING!

The Puget Sound enjoys salmon, red snapper and all the best the ocean has to offer. Fishing permits may be purchased at the Port Ludlow Marina. Those looking for other fishing alternatives can head about 5 minutes away to Teal Lake. Teal Lake is a fully stocked fly fishing lake. There is no live bait or barbed hooks allowed.

The crabbing season is under way and it has been incredible this year, just out front of the cabin!

GOLF!

The Port Ludlow Golf Course offers an 18 hole, championship golf course that is open to the public. It is a very hilly course, but absolutely beautiful!

Things to do in and around Port Ludlow...

FOR KIDS!
The beach is a wonderful playground for children, but there are other things to do in and around Port Ludlow.

About a mile away is Kehele Park, which features 3 tennis courts, basketball hoops, picnic tables, swings and a play structure. Make the 40 minute drive to Port Townsend to explore the empty army bunkers and their tunnels at Fort Worden. Take the kids to Mats Mats Bay - blocks away - where kids can catch bullhead fish by the bucketful.

Bring your GPS and Geoteam to find a treasure in Port Ludlow!

The Port Ludlow Marina rents bikes.

HIKING!
Port Ludlow's Timberton Loop Trail offers the best of everything. The 4.5 mile trail winds through the golf course, around Ray's Rock and loops back to the beginning. Along the way, enjoy views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier.

Around the Bay Trail is a flat, 2.5 mile trail that can be looped into a 5 mile hike. This trail links the North Bay and South Bay neighborhoods in Port Ludlow. Signposts (numbered and marked with ABT) are situated along the trail to guid you. The number system starts on the North Bay side and the numbers get higher as you travel south. Start at the Port Ludlow Marina.

Ludlow Falls Interpretive Trail is a beautiful half mile loop, about 2 miles from the cabin. Access from Breaker Lane at the far west side of the Village Center. Walk across the meadow to find the trailhead. At the trailhead, turn left or right. Enjoy the interpretive signs along the hike. You will find thick, wire rope form the early days of logging in Port Ludlow. The waterfalls are beautiful and the lush forest make this a quick walk.

Welcome to the Little Cabin by the Sea!

Our beach front cabin is situated on a sandy beach on the West Sound. From the deck you can see Mt. Baker and the Cascade Mountain Range.

Inside the cabin, there is a queen size bedroom on the main floor. Upstairs you will find a king size bed with a view of the Puget Sound. There is a twin bed tucked in the corner of the loft.

Our kitchen has a microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Enjoy a barbeque on the porch or a fire on the beach. Our fireplace heats up the cabin quickly.

We have a limited selection of DVDs and VHS tapes. There are books and board games for rainy days. Our cabin is best suited for a small family or four adults. The area surrounding the cabin is wooded, so don't be surprised to share your morning coffee in the company of deer. Escape the noise of the city and enjoy the fresh sea air and the gentle sound of the waves.

We look forward to seeing you and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any problems or concerns!
